Ramsden Cottage Renovation: Tradition Meets Modern Elegance
In the picturesque village of Ramsden in the Cotswolds, a traditional cottage has been beautifully transformed. Working with an experienced builder and interior designer, we seamlessly blended the home’s historic charm with modern updates.
The Renovation
We crafted and installed bespoke casement windows, French doors, unique porthole windows, and welcoming front doors. Finished in RAL7009 Green Grey, the design unified the cottage inside and out, enhancing its tranquil character.
Ironmongery was selected to reflect the cottage’s traditional interiors, adding a Tuscan-inspired warmth. Thoughtful use of materials and colours gave the home a luxurious, tailored finish.
Overcoming Challenges
With tight timelines, we prefabricated windows before final aperture dimensions were confirmed. Close coordination with the client and site manager ensured a perfect fit.
For the new extension, we carefully matched window pane sizes to the originals, blending the old and new seamlessly and preserving the cottage’s timeless feel.
