Craftsmanship with Character
The sash windows featured a unique split design, with smaller top sashes and Georgian glazing bars, replicating the originals while improving thermal efficiency and security. Attention to detail was key, ensuring the home’s historical charm was preserved.
Overcoming Challenges
During the replacement of the bay window, the original mouldings broke on removal. Our craftsmen recreated the intricate details in-house, delivering a flawless match to the original.
Casement windows bridging a bedroom and bathroom were installed with precision to ensure alignment, enhancing both functionality and appearance.
Bespoke Finishing Touches
The French doors received special attention, with the client selecting a unique handle to complement the design. A two-tone paint scheme—creamy beige outside and classic white inside—added a subtle elegance to the property’s aesthetic.
